YEARBOOKS LESSON PLAN
STAGE 1 - paper interview
• Students individually write questions for the teacher to answer about the past year and
future plans. Teacher answers the questions only if they are grammatically correct.
• Students form groups to collate their information about the teacher, and then write a
mini essay on the board.
• Feedback and reformulation of any errors.
STAGE 2 - preparation for student interviews
• Students in groups of 3 prepare a list of questions to ask fellow students.
STAGE 3 - student interviews
• Students draw a name out of a hat and then interview that person while taking notes.
STAGE 4 - article writing
• Write up the articles for the year book including picture.
STAGE 5 - most likely to

• This sentence is passed on to the next group who compile a shortlist of possible
candidates.
