I. Организационный момент.

T.: Good morning, pupils! I'm glad to see you!  

Today we shall review  our grammar and new words.Then we shall speak about animals in danger and we shall think what we can do to help animals and birds.

II. Фонетическая зарядка.

T.: But first first let's review the words. Look at the board:

Smartboard: 

am... the trees

a h..h mountain

to .ide money

de.. in the snow

to s.ve a baby

fre.. water

Who wants to find the missing letters?

Now read the word combinations.

Make up your own word combinations with the words

Now let's listen to the poem.

"Who Has Seen The Wind" (звуковой файл)

Do you think it's a beautiful poem? What is this poem about? (P: the wind, nature). Does this poem teaches us to love nature? Who wants to recite this poem? And rest of you will do the written task in your exercise-books. Let's begin. (раздаточные карточки: работа с лексикой по теме)

III. Речевая разминка.

T.: Thank you for your poems. OK, pupils, are you ready with your written tasks? Give in your exercise books, please.

Now let's continue our work. Disagree with me. Use "neither...nor".

1. I like both fruit and vegetables.

P.: I like neither fruit nor vegetables.

2. She knows both German and French.

P.: She knos neither German nor French.

3. Kate and Mary both learn English.

P.: Neither Kate nor Mary learns English.

4. Both boys and girls played football.

P.: Neither boys nor girls played football.

5. People speak English both in Russia and in Italy.

P.: People speak English neither in Russia nor in Italy.

6. She knows both Geography and History.

P.: She knows neither Geography nor History.

IV. Совершенствование грамматических навыковю

T.: OK, and now let's review our grammar. Last lesson we learnt how to use Past Continuous and Past Simple. Do you remember?

Let's make up sentences please.

V. Физкультминутка.

I see you are tired. let's have a rest and play. Today we'll play "Theatre". We'll make a performance. I'll give out your parts.

(карточки: "little kitten", "the Sun", "the sky", "the tree"(3), "the leave"(4), "a dark cloud", "the wind")

Now I'll read the story and you will perform it. Let's begin.

"One day the weather was fine. The Sun was shining. The sky was blue. The trees were beautiful. The Leaves on the trees were green and fresh. A little kitten went for a walk. Suddenly a dark cloud closed the Sun. The wind began to blow. The trees began to bow down their heads. The leaves began to tremble. The little kitten was afraid and hid under the tree.

That is all. Your performance was wonderful. Thank you very much. Now take your seats please. Let's continue our work. 

VI. Совершенствование речевых навыковю

Your hometask was to get ready to speak about disappearing animals and to make up your own dialogues on this topic. So, who is ready? Who wants to be the first?

So, ladies and gentlemen, what do think of it?

PP.: People must protect animals.

        We must save wild animals.

        We must take care of nature.

       People depend on our planet, on the Sun, on animals and plants. So, if we want to save our lives, we must save nature.

       We shouldn/t cut down trees.

       We must keep the air fresh and water clean.

T.: Well, ladies and gentlemen, the problem is very serious and very important. But our work today was very useful. Now we know what to do. So thank you very much for your work.

And our lesson is over, too.

Your hometask: all of you took part in this conference. So, please, write a letter to your friend about the conference and about our problems.
