- Итоговый урок-проект в 8 классе по теме «Спорт» по учебнику «Английский язык»(Авторы В.П.Кузовлев и другие).
- В данной статье мне хотелось бы рассказать об уроке,который я провела
- по теме «21 Зимние Олимпийские игры в Ванкувере».При подготовке проекта я нацеливала учащихся на поиск материалов в Интернете.
- Цели урока:
- социокультурный аспект- знакомство с результатами Зимних Олимпийских
- игр;
- познавательный аспект-увеличение объема знаний об истории зимних
- Олимпиад,по теме «Страны и города»;
- развивающий аспект- развитие самостоятельности,развитие выстраивать логическую последовательность,развитие внимания;
- воспитательный аспект-воспитание стремления к мирному сосуществованию между людьми и нациями,воспитание патриотизма;
- учебный аспект-развитие речевых умений и умений понимать речь на слух;
- Задачи урока:
- -найти информацию в Интернете, сделать презентацию с использованием
- мульти-медиа;
- совершенствовать речевые умения по теме;
- -совершенствовать умения аудировать с целью извлечения необходимой
- информации;
- -осуществить контроль знаний по теме;

- Teacher(T) Hello,boys and girls!Nice to see you!We have some guests at our English lesson. They are teachers of our city. We are glad to meet them at our
school.
- The theme of our lesson is ''The 21 Winter Olympic Games''.We are going to
to talk about the last Olympic Games,listen to each other and try to understand
each other. I wish you good luck!

- Project ''From the history of the Winter Olympics''
- P1: The Winter Olympic Games have been held since 1924.The first Winter Olympic Games were held in France in 1924. 300 athletes from 16 countries took part in them. The athletes competed in alpine and cross country skiing,ski jumping,speed skating,,figure skating,ice hockey and Nordic combined.
- The Olympic Games were not held in 1940 and 1944,when they were interrupted
by World War ll.
- The Winter Olympics have been hosted on three continents,but never in the
southern hemisphere. The United States has hosted the Games four times. France
has been the host three times. Austria, Italy,Japan, Norway,Canada and Switzerland have hosted the Games twice.
- The 21 Winter Olympics were held in Canada,Vancouver from the 12 of February
to the 28 of February.79 countries took part in them.
- In 2014 Sochi will be the first Russian city to host the Winter Olympics.

- P2: Welcome to Canada! It's the world's second largest country after Russia. It's
located in North America.
- Canada is a northern country but its climate varies dramatically. Winters can
be long and cold,summers can be scorching.
- The astonishing natural beauty of Canada attracts visitors from around the world.
They like their Niagara Falls most of all.
- Canada is a federation consisting of ten provinces and three territories.
The official languages in Canada are English and French.
- It is one of the highly-developed countries in the world.
- The capital of Canada is Ottawa situated on the south bank of the Ottawa
River in the province of Ontario.
- Canada's population is more than 31 million people.
- Canada has hosted the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal,the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

- P3: The city of Vancouver is beautiful. It's located on the west coast of Canada and it is surrounded by water from three sides.
- It's named after the British Captain George Vancouver,who explored the Area in the eighteenth century.
- The city's climate(thanks to the Pacific Ocean) is mild and you can see palm trees in the streets. They say Vancouver is a city where you can ski in the mountains and swim in the sea at the same time of the year.
- There are about 200 parks in the city. The largest and the most famous of them is Stanley Park.
- There are more than 40 skyscrapers in Vancouver. The tallest one has 62 floors.
- Vancouver is one of the best cities in the world for quality of life. It's one of the world's most expensive cities,too.
- The emblem of the the 2010 Winter Olympic Games is an inukshuk. It is called '
llanaaq which is the Inuktitut word for friend.

- P4:The United States of America won 9 gold medals,15 silver medals and 13 bronze medals. It is the first place by total awarded medals.Germany won 10 gold medals,13 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. It is the second place.Canada won 14 gold medals,7 silver medals and 5 bronze medals. It is the third place.Russia won 3 gold medals,5 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. It's the sixth place.

the host nation of the 22 Winter Olympic Games .

- P5: Russia is the largest country in the world. It is situated in Europe and Asia. Its area is over 17 million square kilometres.
- It is made up of republics, krais(territories), oblasts (provinces)and okrugs. Moscow and St. Petersburg are federal cities. They function as separate regions.
- The national flag of Russia is made up of three stripes:white,blue and red.
- The beauty of the ancient towns,their historical and architectural monuments,the gilded domes of the cathedrals,and autumn gold of the forests attract tourists from all over the world.
- The enormous size of our country and the remoteness of many areas from the sea result in the dominance of the humid continental and subarctic climate. A small part of the Black sea around Sochi has a subtropical climate. The coldest month in Russia
is January.(February on the shores of the sea).The warmest month is July.
- The population of our country is about 150 million people.
- The capital of Russia is Moscow.

- P6: Sochi is a coastal city located in the Krasnodar krai ,which is the third largest region in Russia.
- It has a population of 400 000 people.
- It was founded in 1838.
- Sochi is a beautiful city. Many exotic plants grow there. You can see palm trees and magnolias there.
- Summers in Sochi are hot and sunny. Sometimes the weather is stormy. In winter
it is cool and rainy.
- Many holiday makers visit Sochi in summer and autumn and have a great time there swimming in the sea,sunbathing,going to the parks and cafes.
- The 2014 Winter Olympic Games will be organized in two clusters: a coastal cluster for ice events in Sochi and a mountain cluster located in Krasnaya Polyana.
The Sochi Olympic Park will be built along the Black Sea coast in the Imeritskaya Valley. The mountain cluster in Krasnaya Polyana will be the home to all the skiing and sliding sports.
- T:Thank you,Sasha. All of you will be 18 years old in 4 years and some of you will be able to go to Sochi and watch your favourite kinds of sports by your own eyes. I am a fan of ice hockey,figure skating and speed skating. And I hope I'llwatch the Games on TV.
