Dear, Friends!

   My name is.... I’m 15 years old. English is my favourite subject at school and I have been studying this subject since childhood.  

 English, in my opinion, is more practical and demanded in the world because more than 1 billion people  speak English,  I want to read English books of great writers in the original. I want to communicate with people from different countries, I want to understand their culture and traditions. I like to travel.

 How do I learn English?

1)You should know about the peculiarities of its grammar, punctuation, reading and so on. So, a basis is a theoretical knowledge. As about me, the most important rule is a lot of practice. 

The easiest way to learn a foreign language is:

to have a good textbook and

to have a good teacher

2) My mum decided to expand my vocabulary and to take me to special kids’ courses of  English language in Continental Language School.

        The easiest way to learn a foreign language is:

 to go to an English-speaking country

and  have an English-speaking pen friend

3) I read a lot. There is always an English book on my desk. I'm trying to learn a few new words every day.  On the Internet we can find books, films, songs in English.Iit’s necessary to read not only English classical literature but also books about history of Great Britain, the traditions and customs of this country. These books can help to understand the character of native speakers.

I read English, books and youth magazines.

I read labels and instructions on everything

4)I listen to songs in English and try to recognize the words. I have some tapes and video-tapes in English. I like to watch different satellite TV programs in English.

   5)  Change the settings of your mobile phone and computer on English.

   6) Sign up for a glossy magazine or magazines in English.

   7)I like to play computer games and adjusted the settings to English.

   8)I watch  movies in English without translation into Russian.

   9) )I printed from Wikipedia 10-15 articles  and read in my spare time.

10) I  displayed a map of the world in English in  my bedroom   where  I spend a lot of time.

11) I downloaded popular English dictionaries   on my smartphone and laptop.

12) Besides, it is a bright idea to communicate with native speakers online and to use different Internet programs and resources such as Skype, ICQ, Facebook, and so on.You can chat on the Internet and phone your friends abroad

  13) When I travel to other countries I always take a chance to use my English there.

  So, in this way I learn English.
