Цель урока: 1. Образовательная - совершенствование навыков монологической речи.

2. Развивающая – развитие активности, способности к анализу, обобщению и формулированию собственных выводов

3. Воспитательная – формирование ответственного отношения к окружающей среде,  воспитание правильного экологического поведения.

Задачи:

- активизировать лексический материал по теме;          развивать навыки устной речи по теме;

-развивать творчество и инициативу учащихся.

<p>Для урока ученикик по двое подготавливают презентации на определенные темы: &quot;Litter everywhere&quot;, &nbsp;&quot;Endangered Animals&quot;, &quot;Ecology around us&quot;(домашнее задани), учат стих &quot;Nothing is forever&quot; . Учитель готовит план урока, находит запись песни &quot;The Earth song&quot;<br /> &nbsp;</p>

Ход урока

  1. Вводная часть.

T: Good morning, boys and girls! Will you sit down? I hope you are fine today. I’m glad to see you. Let’s begin our lesson. At the last lessons we spoke that the Earth is in danger. Children, is it actual to speak about environmental problems?

P1:Yes, it is. 2013 –the Year of Protecting of the Environment.

T: That’s right. We must do everything to protect nature. The theme of the lesson is “Let’s save our planet, the Earth”.We’ll try to answer what people can do to save our planet.Today we are going to discuss the ecological problems.  Betheway, the word “ecology” came from Greek which means “home”. That’s why we say our home is in danger. With which words do you associate the word “Environment”? What is it for you?

Возможныеответы: air, water, soil, trees and flowers, birds, plants and animals, forests and woods, rivers, seas, ocean, lakes and ponds, species, insects, cities and towns ,countries, factories and plants, power stations, waste, litter, cars and buses, lorries and bikes…

T: Excellent! We live on the Earth and all of these with YOU are called the environment.

Подготовка учащихся к предстоящей работе.Warmingup.

It’s a wonderful world we live in. It is our Earth. For thousands of years the Earth has given support to all forms of life – human beings, animals and plants. But now people all over the world think about our planet.They say our planet is in danger. We have very serious environmental problems on our Earth. Who can say what these problems are?



 

P1: One of the problems is air pollution.

P2: I think the next global problem is water pollution.

P3: Many animals, birds and plants are disappearing now. To my mind it’s a very serious problem.

P4: Another problem is overpopulation. Nowadays there are too many people on the Earth.

P5: And we have also such a problem as destruction of natural recourses.  For example, every year more and more trees are cut down.

P6: As for me I see that there is much litter everywhere.

T: You are quite right. At this lesson we are going to discuss these global environmental problems as air and water pollution, endangered animals and plants, and secondly we will try to answer the question: “What can we do to protect our environment and to save our planet?”

2.Трансфер. (Презентация) Pupils look at these landscapes. The world we live is really wonderful: blue oceans, rivers, green valleys and fields. The forest is our wealth. In our forest we gather berries and mushrooms. There are many beautiful places in the world. We live among white birches. We breathe fresh air and swim in clean ponds. That’s great!  What do we see here?

 Land without trees –

No air to breathe-

Dangerous water –

 No food for animals-

We must do everything to protect our Nature.

3.Этапразгрузки.Let’s recite a poem «Nothing is forever”.

Выполнение упражнений на закрепление используемой лексики.Ex.117,p.31

4. Физкультминутка.

1)Сегодня делаем движение глазами «стоячая змея». Сначала очертите глазами буквуS в одном направлении, затем в другую, повторяя пословицу”Wealth is nothing without health“.

2) Моргайте веками, подобно тому, как бабочка машет крыльями, проговаривая стишок:

Rain on the grass

And rain on the tree

Rain on the house- top

But not on me.

5. Этап презентации.

Your homework was to prepare your small projects of ecological problems.

After projects. T: (to the first group) Ann, how do you think, can you breathe a fresh air?

When the tragedy occurs, the government asks people to move to the other places. Sasha, have you heard about citizens of Chernobil tragedy, living in our place?(the Bubnovs)

T: (to the second group) Nastya, have you got a drinkable water?

T: What can we do to save our planet from rubbish?

T: What endangered animals can you name?

T. Let’s sum up the problems: 1)Water is polluted.2)Dogs are not under control.3) Trees are cut. 4) Fires are burnt. 5) Litter is left. 6) Bottles, cans and tins are left everywhere. 7) Papers and plastic packets are thrown out.8) Some plants and animals are disappearing.

T. And what about you, students? What do you do at home to save the nature? Let’s make up our own rules.

Учащиеся встают и придумывают правила.



 

Code of Ecological Rules.

-Don’t break trees.Plant trees.

-Don’t leave litter.Put litter away.

-Keep the country tidy.

-Respect the life and work of the countryside.

-Don’t cut wild flowers.Grow flowers.

-Don’t frighten birds and animals.

Keep dogs under control.

-Don’t burn fires.

T: Now, for relaxing we shall listen to “The Earth Song” by Michael Jackson. Try to remember the words.

 Дети называют, что они поняли, что Земля в опасности и почему не мы должны об этом говорить. Такие слова, как: What about us? What about elephants? What about sees then?...

6.Подведение итогов урока, рефлексия.

T. Our lesson is coming to an end. In conclusion I’d like to tell you that the protection of nature is everybody’s business.

    An outstanding English writer John Galsworthy said: «If you don’t think about the future you will not have it.” Let’s think about the future. Let’s keep our planet tidy and make it better place to live in. Let’s save the Earth for ourselves and for the next generations.
