<p>Урок разработан для учащихся 7 класса. УМК Ю. Е., Ваулиной, ДЖ. Дули, О. Е. Подоляко, В. Эванс. Урок открытия нового знания в рамках системно &ndash; деятельностного подхода. Урок обучения письменной речи. На уроке учащиеся учатся писать рассказ, описывая человека.</p> <p>Формируемые УУД: коммуникативные, регулятивные, познавательные, личностные.</p>

                                                        Ход урока.

    I. Организационный момент.

(1. Мотивация к учебной деятельности.)

  • Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you. Today we shall read, speak as usual. We shall also write.

II. Речевая зарядка.

  •   Let’ start.
  1. How are you today?
  2. You have many friends, don’t you?
  3. What does your best friend look like? Can you describe him or her?
  4. What is your friend like?
  5. Do you like him or her? Why?
  6. Is there a person you admire greatly?
  7. Who is he or her?
  8. Why do you admire them?

T: Open your workbooks, ex 1a) p 20.  What do you see? (S: An article)

T: Read the article on cyclist Lance Armstrong and put the paragraphs in the correct order.

(Key: A – 2; B – 4; C – 3; D – 1)

T: Read the article again and complete the factfile. (Слайд 2)

Early years: the pop-rap duo “DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince”, singing humorous songs, in1990 the NBC television network signed him to a contract. Smith began a successful movie career.

Later years: Most successful films: “Independence Day” (1996); “Men in Black” (1997). Since then - more than 20 films, 5 solo albums.

The reasons to admire him: a great actor and singer, a wonderful person

     Will Smith is my favourite actor. He was born Philadelphia in the USA in 1968 and he lives in California. He is tall and slim. He has got short black curly hair and brown eyes. Will is very clever and has got a great sense of humour

    Will Smith started his career in the pop-rap duo “DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince”, singing humorous songs. Smith was energetic, and in 1990 the NBC television network signed him to a contract. Smith began a successful movie career.

    In 1996 Smith began a successful solo music career while starring in a series of films. The first two films were hugely successful: “Independence Day” (1996) and “Men in Black” (1997).Since then he has appeared in more than 20 films. He also has recorded 5 solo albums.

   I like Will Smith a lot because he is a great actor, singer and a wonderful person.

    If you are a sports fan, you are sure to know the name Michael Jordan, because he is probably the greatest basketball player the world has ever seen. Michael Jordan was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York. Michael Jordan certainly looks like a star. He is tall, well - built and handsome, with friendly brown eyes.

    He began playing basketball in 1981while studying at university. During the summer of 1984, Jordan made his first appearance at the Olympic Games as a member of the U.S. Olympic basketball team. The team won the gold at the games that year.

       Jordan played 15 seasons in the NBA for the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. In April 2009, Jordan received one of basketball's greatest honors: he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Although his career as a player is over, his fame will live on for many years.

       All in all, I admire Michael Jordan not only because he was a great athlete, but also because he is such a warm, caring person.

    VI. Домашняя работа. . (Слайд 9)

T:  Write an article for the school magazine about a friend or family member you admire (100-120 words). Use the following information:

• name and profession

• date and place of birth

• physical description

• achievements/career

• reasons for admiration

    VII. Итоги. Оценки.

T: What have we done today? (S: We’ve read and answered the questions have written an article about Will Smith.)

T: What have we learnt? (S: How to write an article, describing a person).
