Главная задача учителя начальных классов в современных условиях – быть помощником ребенку в его жизненном самоопределении, не быть перед ребенком чем-либо высшим, а каждую минуту переживать процесс обучения с детьми и самому учиться с ними.
Для решения данной задачи современный учитель начальных классов должен:
- помочь ребенку поставить перед собой цель и овладеть способами её достижения, не забывая при этом о нравственности;
- помочь ребенку стать творцом;
- дать навыки саморегуляции, где ребёнку недостаточно быть исполнителем, а необходимо принимать на себя роль субъекта своей деятельности;
- дать ребёнку средства защиты, восстановления личностной гармонии, физического и психологического стимулирования.
Учителя! Они как свет в пути.
Какое ж нужно огненное сердце
Иметь в груди, чтоб людям свет нести.
Чтоб след его вовек не мог стереться,
А чем их труд измерить, ты спроси

Подвижников немало на Руси
Но нет мудрее их и благородней.
И мне кажется, что учитель – это не профессия, а образ жизни. Ведь даже дома ни на секунду не прекращаешь думать о школе, о своих учениках. Готовя урок, чувствуешь, думаешь, видишь весь класс и каждого в отдельности .
